In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are trying to reduce the number of people who visit our clinic. This includes limiting the number of patients who are in our waiting room at any given time. Here are several things you can do to help us minimize the risk to patients and staff, and to make your visit as smooth as possible.
Preparing for Your Appointment with your Doctor
Please call or go to our online booking tab to make an appointment.
Consider booking a virtual appointment by phone or by video. Many issues can be explored and addressed in this way. If an in-person appointment is needed, it may help to start with a virtual visit to talk about the issues in depth first. After that, a targeted in-person exam can be booked soon afterwards.
Plan to arrive on time for your appointment. We are scheduling patients in a way that allows us to clean the exam room between each patient while minimizing the use of our waiting room. If you arrive too early you may be filling up our waiting room and increasing risk to yourself and others. If you arrive too late the physician may not have time to see you and clean the room before their next patient arrives.
If you have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of a viral illness you MUST tell us before you arrive for your appointment, preferably 1-2 days in advance. In some cases we will postpone the appointment or change it to a virtual one. In other cases we will try to schedule you for the end of the day or at a time when there are no other patients around.
When You Arrive
Please wear a mask when entering our office. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. Please keep your mask on at all times unless instructed by your physician.
Check in at the front desk and wait to be brought into an exam room.
When you are done your appointment, you may wish to book a virtual or in-person follow-up appointment with the front desk staff.
